i have an obsession right now that i seldom have. this girl is the reason i watch x-factor. and i rarely watch those kind of thing. she is phenomenal. i loves all her performances. the control of her voice is remarkable. my favorite was her cover on karmin's brokenhearted. much much much better than the original. damn, she's good.

i'm now watching "the cruise ship diaries", the captain looks smoking hot! how i wish i can afford cruising the ocean for a year and go to places i can't imagine of going. for now, it's just another wish in my bucket list.

last november, shikin and i went visiting hong kong. it was unplanned and at the very last minute trip. it was never a good idea having a last minute, everything would be much expensive. the hotel, the flight ticket and you know, the money for the trip itself. but i do have a good time though. it was a laid-back trip i would say.

because the flight ticket was almost MYR1K when we looked it up, we decided to have a transit flight, which cost lower. we took airasia to manila, philippines, overnight and the day after we took tiger airways to hong kong. it was definitely tiring, but quite fun actually, doing nothing.

as we spent the night in manila and our flight arrived at midnight, we booked a hotel and sleepover. it was really a nice hotel, spanish style and it cost us only around MYR160.

the actual plan was to stay the night at the clark airport as our flight was supposedly at 8am in the morning. but the flight was rescheduled to 8pm at night. that is the thing about taking transit flight. we'll never know what would happen.

we arrived in hong kong at around 10pm and took the bus from airport to causeway bay area. i loved our hostel. location wise, the best. if i'm not mistaken, it's called yesinn@causewaybay. the room, too crowded, 9 pax in a small room. well, i don't really mind much. it is was it was paid for right? :P

the very first day we went to hong kong disneyland. it really wasn't my taste of places to go. i'm not exactly into theme park. it was crowded and too touristy. but it was alright. at least the shows are. my favorite was the lion king adventure.

the lion king adventure

can you see the man on the right side of the zebra? he's hot.

it's all fake. if you want the real deal, go to borne. we have crocodile farm in serian, 2 hours drive from kuching.

sleeping beauty castle. nope, we cannot enter. it was just bricks. i do hope they built it for real. was a disappointment.

the firework show. this was nice except for the whole audience, which really is annoying. i don't want to be judgmental, but the chinese from mainland is really something. they are too loud and selfish i would say. i swear i don't want to be judgmental, but i can't help it.

yupe, we wasted 1 whole day in disneyland. we arrived before the park open and went back almost after it closed.we are the biggest fan, what can i say. and beside, it's the happiest place on earth. or so they say.

the next day, we continued our journey to the peak. the best place to view hong kong from up above. and i met angelina joilie and brad pitt! and johnny depp! well, they were wax figures, but what the hell.

at madame taussauds hong kong. met my idol :D

the peak observation deck

from the peak, we went all around hong kong to find somewhere to eat. well, it was shikin idea and we were lost for 3 hours! and when we arrived there, it was closed! shouldn't have done that. it was really such a waste of time. my feet hurt badly and i lost my mood to go anywhere right after and we just headed back to our hostel.

on the 3rd day, we went to lantau island. the waiting line was crazy. and i think we waited around 1 hour lining up. do i enjoy it? hurm, average. the view was amazing though. the best i would say. we went to some villages in the hope of seeing pink dolphins. but, unfortunately, the dolphins were too ashamed to meet us because i hate pink. whatever.

Tao village, if i'm not mistaken

entrance to the big buddha

the big buddha from afar. nope, we didn't go near because we wouldn't climb the bloody stairs!

cable car to get to lantau island

we headed back from lantau island to tai tung at around 5pm and went shopping! tai tung shopping complex was the best. it was filled with all this branded outlet and the prices were damn cheap! i was almost regretted going to lantau island and started thinking why didn't we just spend time here instead? it was heaven on earth!. the best place to shop till you drop. the price difference from in kl was crazy. i would definitely go back to hong kong for shopping. hehe

as i, wanted badly to watch the symphony of light, we cut short our shopping spree and went to watch the light show. it was magical i think. i kinda loved it.

it was raining after that. phew.

our flight back to manila was at 9am the next day and yupe, i don have fun. i brought this book titled 50 shades of grey, which i finished reading it in 2 days. that how haunting that book was. well, it's porno book in a good way. haha

today is my birthday. my so called big 3-0. i'm not really into celebrating birthday as it keep reminding me of how pathetic my life is. i want to think that my birthday is unlisted, so that i won't be worried of getting old. i received numerous wishes, only 1% are from my friends. the other 99% was from either banks, department store, my loyalty cards and etc offering numerous discount whatsoever. pathetic huh? that's being me.

the day wasn't really going well so far. i've made one BIG mistake for the survey that i conducted. i missed out japan! and the due date for submission is today! luckily, i have the best boss ever, saved my day. i can't be thankful enough to have him as my superior. sigh~

it's also might be a trend right now to have a bucket list. you know, the list that "some" people have on things they want to do before they die. i want to have that list too! it's just that i don't really know what exactly that i reaaaaalllllyyyyyy want to do. saying that, below are most probably things that i wanted to do before i die.

1) sky diving & bungee jump in new zealand
2) 7 wonders of the world (the old ones)
3) xxxxxxxxx (secret) :)

well, it might requires a lot of pennies.

i went to lombok, indonesia on 7th of october for 3 days. basically it was for work, so i don't enjoy fully what lombok can offer. lombok is still a virgin for a tourist attraction. i saw just a handful of tourist and the development was still far from its neighboring island, bali. its becoming more and more famous nowadays and in my experience with undeveloped countries (as if i've been to lots :P ) its going to be a hit. lombok has plenty to offer. the beaches, the mountain (mount rinjani), all the islands in between. proudly i can say i've been to a virgin lombok for years to come :)

 senggigi beach

warehouse of our company's group. that's unprocessed tobacco leaves.

 tobacco's plant.

kuta beach

isn't it a beauty? no tourist. still empty. just the way i like it to be.

last saturday, not yesterday, the last one before yesterday's saturday (as if you would understand. but if you're smart enough, you will!) we went to lepoh waterfall, basically, it's located around sg. congkak area or sg gabai - some famous rivers in selangor. this was my second trip to lepoh. it's was a simple hike, around 2 hours for a lovely waterfall.

we started the hike at around 7am and arrived at the camp area at around 8.40am. it was so refreshing!

anyhow, we went back around 11am. just nice to fetch up my cousin at the airport at 2pm. went out and about with her and needed to pack my bag for lombok trip. :)

p.s this is a dedication, to someone that i have loved, and always will.

ELTON JOHN - YOUR SONG

It's a little bit funny, this feeling inside
I'm not one of those, who can easily hide
I don't have much money, but boy if I did
I'd buy a big house where we both could live

If I was a sculptor, but then again no,
Or a man who makes potions in a traveling show
I know it's not much, but it's the best I can do
My gift is my song and this one's for you

And you can tell everybody, this is your song
It may be quite simple but now that it's done
I hope you don't mind, I hope don't you mind
That I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the world

I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss
Well a few of the verses, well they've got me quite cross
But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this song,
It's for people like you, that keep it turned on.

So excuse me forgetting, but these things I do
You see I've forgotten, if they're green or they're blue
Anyway the thing is, what I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen.

the best thing about life is to do things that you love. and that my friend is what i did on sunday. :D i went hiking! tabur hill which is located in taman melawati, here in the heart of kuala lumpur. i can't believe i haven't hike this hill before. the view are superb and absolutely stunning. a picture perfect!

it was said that tabur hill have the highest rate of fatalities in south east asia, and after completed the hike, i knew exactly why. it's a limestone hill, having 14 peaks altogether. it was actually an easy peasy hike, but, you need to master a little bit of rock climbing. quite dangerous i would say for a beginner. with lots of steep edges and cliffs. but, what is life without a little risk huh.

it was actually my second trip to tabur hill, the first one was just 2 weeks before, which we completed up till only the 7th peak. it was because we thought we have completed all the peaks. silly us. and that was why i came again for the 2nd time around. we completed until the 12th.

all of us, on malaysia day!

this is why it's call "dragon's backbone" ridge. it's look like it right?

the dam make the view even nicer

this is 90 degrees rock climbing. and i was stuck there, unable to move up. sigh~

 i'm basically on a cliff.

rock climbing 101

the view is pretty amazing huh? tabur hill is definitely a must hike hill.
i was in johor last saturday for a friend's wedding. went there with 2 friends of mine, lenard & fairuz. it was nice to be away from KL for a few hours. in between, we stopped at johor premium outlet. i can't believe how cheap all those branded items was! will surely come again!

i wish i have mini too. why la so expensive. sigh~

i wanted to talk about feeling today. noooo.... not about love, as i don't have any of those. about HATE, which i have plenty. i was so easy for me to hate than to love and i can hate indefinitely. i blamed it on the star. seriously.

i was born on 24 oct, which i'm considered a scorpio. not that i'm a believer. they say, scorpio hold grudge, so do i. the trigger point can be anything. even the simplest thing. worst, i tends to show what i feel and sometimes, i even say it out loud. let just say, i tends to have more "enemies" than allies.

my "enemies" are the ones that i despised. i won't talk, look or even have any slightest interest in them. my hate grows with time. it grown till i felt nothing, and we became stranger once again.

city of london

the last city i visited was london. for only 2 days! i wished i stayed longer. well, maybe next time. i met a few lovely ladies that help show me the way around london. my flight from dublin to london was in the evening and i arrived after 10pm with and it was raining heavily then. i headed straight to victoria station and took a taxi to my hostel, travel joy. it cost me GBP10! i was in the same room with sandra, a lovely mexican, solange, an argentinean and erin, an australian whom were also traveling alone, so we made a pack, touring around london. it was so easy to move around london. i love everything about it. i love the people, the weather and everything in between.
