so, my first assignment is to teach Bahasa at Matu Social Organisation (MSO) School at Taman Bukit Cheras. The location is quite near to where i stay. This school consist of 104 Myanmar students from the ethnic group Matupi. i know... i never have a teaching experience. and my bahasa sucks. but i really want to do this. besides, they need only basic bahasa.
you might wondering why so sudden? why volunteering? why now?
basically, i have involved in charity / volunteer work since primary school. i was an active red cross member until high school. but i stopped when i entered university. i do tried to resume back in 2007, when i volunteer for Yayasan Salam, but it was way too "religious" for me. i wants no biasses. human right are equal!
i don't know why, but i feel good when i do something good for someone. and 'karma' plays great part in my life.
