last night i restored the phone to factory setting, for which i'm not supposed to. then, it was locked and needed to be activated. i tried doing all the troubleshooting by my own, but to no succeed. then i gave up.
went back to the store where i purchased the phone after work. and it cost me rm90 just to unlock the phone. stupid phone. luckily it was back to normal.
