everyone seem to adore paris. me? not so much. but i do like it, not really loving it. most probably it was bloody cold! i really was grateful for kaleena insisted for me to borrow her trench coat. it was so stupid of me thinking that spring would be a good to me. well, it was a lesson learned. :)
after well&nico's wedding, leanor, marcella, nick, kaleena & i went to paris and went our own separate way. i met marcus in paris, a friend of mine and i stayed in Regent Hostel somewhere in montmarte. it was a nice hostel, with superb location.i don't remember how much i paid, but it was a good bargain. there were 4 beds in my room, all single travelers. The Sacred Heart - (Le Sacré Coeur et la Butte Montmartre) at Montmartre hill was only 5 mins walk. the metro was just outside the hostel. a very good bargain indeed.
i'm so lucky to have marcus bringing me around paris. i would be lost without him. the metro was confusing! it was in the metro marcus nearly lost his wallet. so, when someone tells you be careful of pick-pocket in paris, it so true! i witnessed it with my own pair of eyes. when we entered the train, this one girl looked as if she stumbled upon marcus when suddenly i heard marcus yelled "my wallet, u took my wallet!" the girl ignored him, and somehow suddenly came a few men and gotten hold of the girl a 3 of her friends and all of them bawled at each other in french!. we were confused as at the same time the train stopped, didn't move at all. then one of the men pulled out a cloth written with "police" and spoke to both of us ushering us out from the train. when we were already on the platform, he explained that they were undercover police and wanted us to follow them to the station. we wasted a few hours in the police station. it was scary but fun experience at the same time. something that i would never forget.

marcus, before the incident :P
after we were done at the police station, we went to mont parnasse, a must go tourist attraction, which most tourist didn't even aware of it's existence. the best place to view paris in 360 degrees! unfortunately when we came, it was about to rain. but still, the view was breathtaking.
i really have trouble with finding something to eat in france. i ate mostly asian food! i don't think i can survive if i would to stay there, except if i cook on my own.
i tried to make the best of my 3 days stay in paris. went to all those "must visit" places.
